History of the regiment:
The regiment was recruited in the year 1619 on the basis of the patent of 8. April in Alsace. In 1620 he successfully participated in the the battle on the White mountain. In the years 1621 to 1624 he was deployed to Hungary, where he attended such as the battle of Guty. In 1625 he moved to the Netherlands, but in the following year had the battle of Desavy. In the years 1627 to 1629 he was a part of Wallenstein's troops in Mecklenburg, and Jutland. In the following year he was stationed on the Rhine. In 1631 he became the owner of the regiment Carl Rovereit.
