The battalion was established in the year 1744, when the performance of municipalities Temešského banat formed from banátských subjects body about five setninách after 140 men. In the following year the battalion was reinforced by two other setninami.

After the dresden peace the battalion was disbanded. From his part was created Banátský provincial battalion.


The battalion commander was major Carl free lord von Simbschen (whether or not Simschön). Battalion in 1744 with success participated in the persecution of Prague, fleeing the French.
