The basic shape of the badge is an open wreath of laurel and oak leaves in the lower part tied with a ribbon and in its upper part has a smaller double-headed crowned eagle. The eagle sets military-naval standards in its talons. In the middle of the badge is a label that reads: "& # 1057; & # 1074; & # 1077; & # 1072; & # 1073; & # 1086; & # 1088; & # 1075;" depicting a memorial. Under the label are two crossed cannon barrels, an engineer ax and a shovel, two infantry rifles, lightning and a naval mine.
On the red enamel ribbon are the jubilee dates: 1808-1908
The size of the badge is 57x39 mm. The badge for officers was made of gilded silver and enamel. Badge for non-commissioned officers and men made of bronze sheet.
