The badge of honour of the Tambov Infantry Regiment was established on 16 May 1911.
Badge description:
The badge is in the form and shape of a white enamelled cross on which is placed a double crowned eagle. The eagle has a gold monogram on its breast: - Tsar Paul I. - Tsar Nicholas II.
On the upper arm of the cross is a golden tsarist crown. On the lower arm is the year: "1797 17.V. 1897"
Size of the badge: 38x38 mm.
The badge is very rare and has not been auctioned at any foreign auction so far.
