The EMT electromagnetic demining device was used in the Soviet army and was taken over by the current Russian army. The device is designed for the disposal of landmines equipped with a lighter sensitive to changes in the magnetic field and is a kind of miniaturized equivalent of powerful ship deminers.
Powerful electromagnetic generators placed in two cylindrical boxes, which were placed in hinges in front of the mechanical demining device, are used to initiate the explosion. The EMT design allows use together with mechanical deminers of the type: KMT-6, KMT-7 , KMT-8 and KMT-10. The EMT deminer includes PKU-1 (& # 1055; & # 1088; & # 1077; & # 1086; & # 1073; & # 1088; & # 1072; & # 1079; & # 1086; & # 1074; & # 1072; & # 1090; & # 1077; & # 1083; & # 1100; & # 1085; & # 1086; - & # 1082; & # 1086; & # 1084; & # 1084; & # 1091; & # 1090 ; & # 1080; & # 1088; & # 1091; & # 1102; & # 1097; & # 1077; & # 1077; & # 1091; & # 1089; & # 1090; & # 1088; & # 1086; & # 1081; & # 1089; & # 1090; & # 1074; & # 1086 ;, showing the self-communication device) and the control apparatus located in the body of the vehicle.
