24 July 1942 - corps strength: 39, 55, 56th Tank Brigade and 32nd Motorized Artillery Brigade.


26-28 July 1942 - the number of equipment in the corps: 91 T-34, 60 T-60. 56th Tank Brigade destroyed 12 German tanks in combat. Fighting against the German breakthrough Novo-Grigogrevskaya - Logovskiy. Numbers of tanks in brigades - 55th Tank Brigade: 35 tanks, 39th Tank Brigade: 30 tanks. 56th Tank Brigade: 20 tanks. Between 19:30 and 20:00, 35 planes bombed the corps positions. Corps losses for 26 July 1942 - 29 T-34, 20 T-70, 17 T-60. 55th Tank Brigade and 32nd Motor Rifle Brigade lost 50% of their men.


July 31, 1942 - In one day of fighting on Hill 153.0 the corps lost 8 tanks (burned), 7 tanks disabled. The 39th and 55th Tank Brigades lost 44% of their motorized riflemen, the 32nd Motorized Rifle Brigade lost a total of 1400 men on 25-30 July 1942. In total, the 39th and 55th Tank Brigade lost 70% of its gunners!

3 Aug 1942 - In one day of fighting, the corps lost 23 tanks (burned), 18 of them from the 39th Tank Brigade.


4 Aug 1942 - 39th Tank Brigade had: 30 men, 5 T-34s, 2 T-70s and 5 T-60s.


12 Aug 1942 corps deployment in the Stalingrad area - reports state that the following were subordinated: 134th Tank Brigade in the Illarionov (Illarionovsky) area. 193rd Tank Brigade northwest of the Karpovka settlement. Status of the brigade - 35 tanks operational. 17 tanks destroyed by the air force during transport by train to combat positions (movement of 250km). 55th Tank Brigade withdrawn on the morning of 13 August 1942 from Vlasovka for replenishment. 39th Tank Brigade being completed.
