Just briefly to the regimental egalisation, it is a hazel (hazel, lichtdrap) in the Czech equivalent marked as hazelnut colour. Rummersinfanterie, as the members of this regiment were slangily called, wore the regimental insignia in a range of colours from light hazel to dunkl (dark) brown. According to surviving postcards, photographs and cabinet cards, everything depended on the manufacturer and the textile reference samples (binding for the suppliers) were really only indicative. Textile practice is quite necessary to the range of shades on the prescription samples, and in wartime colour was not much of a consideration. Sun-faded colours were also commonplace.
