5.6 x 57 (R)

The charge introduced by the German company RWS in 1965 designed to hunt roe deer and deer game. Shot 3.6 g reaches a muzzle velocity of 1080 m/sec. The hub with the edge (5,6 x 57 R) designed for guns with the intermediate conclusion, introduced to the market, the company RWS in 1972, the bullet has the same ballistic characteristics, like its predecessor. The hub pictured was made by a company Hirtenberger Patronen, Austria and the Rheinisch Westfalische Sprengstoff AG of Germany, the right is the bullet 7,92 x 57. Photo by author.
