4.25mm Liliput
The cartridge was originally developed in 1914 for the Erika pistol. The pistol did not catch on and so the cartridge became slightly widespread in 1920 when it was used in the Liliput A pistol. Menze in Suhl. The cartridge was manufactured by the company Hermann (Franz?) Pfannl, Krems on the Danube, Austria. The projectile of about 1 g had a muzzle velocity of about 240 m/sec. On the right is the 22 Long Rifle cartridge. Photo by.
