Sylvester Krnka, a prominent Czech-born designer who worked in the field of weapons and ammunition. The cartridge pictured here is a product of the Vasily Ostrovsky Company, St. Petersburg, Russia, and was intended for the Krnka transformed Tsarist army's front line.
