8 x 51 Mauser K

German hunting bullet, which was created by shortening the shell casings for military bullets 8 x 57 J at the end of the 19th. century, today it is already outdated. Bullet 9,6 g has a muzzle velocity of 715 m/sec. This charge was made by a company of the Deutsche Waffen u. Munitionsfabrik, Karlsruhe, Germany, additional information at the bottom: Model 88 Hunting. To the right is the "daddy" of rounds of 7.92 x 57. Photo by author.
