Since 1888 there is a development of the military, originally černoprachého ammunition caliber 8 mm for RU a Mannlicher. Against the first version was a shell about 2 mm long and contained a 2.75 g roller smokeless powder. Shot of 15.8 g had a muzzle velocity of 620 m/sec, which is about 90 m more than in the previous bullets. The hub pictured was made by a company Munitionsfabrik Woellersdorf, Vienna, RU.
