Freiwilligen Landesjägerkorps

The Freiwilligen Landesjägerkorps was formed on December 14, 1918 from the 214th Infantry Division of General Ludwig von Maercker and was the first unit of the Freikorps officially recognized by the government.
All members of the unit took an oath of allegiance to the government, in contrast to many other Freikorps that were openly opposed to the Republican government.
She was awarded a quote by Chancellor Friedrich Ebert and Minister of Defense Gustav Nosk (both from the Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands (SPD)) in January 1919 for her efforts against the Spartacist uprising in Berlin.
After the event in Berlin, she was moved to Weimar to protect the parliament.
The vanguard of two officers and 120 men was attacked and imprisoned by the Communists, but over 7,000 Freikorps soldiers took control of the city in the first days of February.
He was later in heavy fighting in Halle against the left wing led by a former lieutenant named Fechlandt.
He was also in action in the following cities: Magdeburg, Brunswick, Dresden, Leipzig and against the Poles in Lower Silesia.
