U obce Volové byla ze SSSR vysazena 18 členná skupina POCHONIN. Československým zástupcem byl dělník Michal Izaj (12.12.1921). Skupina byla hned po seskoku obklíčena a rozprášena, Izaj se po 14 dnech vrátil pře frontu k Rudé armádě. Působil pak ve zpravodajském oddělemní 1. československého armádního sboru jako instruktor pro hloubkový průzkum.
