The brigade, which was part of the advances headquarters of the supreme command, was formed 20. July 1943 in the of the Moscow military district in the village of Selcy Rjazaňské area. To create it were used 8., 9., 11. and 12. replacement pontoon battalion. Brigade after its formation consisted of the command of the brigade, 1., 2., 3. and 4. replacement battalion park N2P and 5. replacement pontonového battalion park TMP. From September 1943 the brigade was stationed in the town of Spassk in Rjazaňské area. The brigade ensured the preparation of the privates and the sergeants for the needs of the engineer units of the field army. In August 1944 the brigade was přetransformována on the 9th. replacement pontoon regiment, which was in January 1946 cancelled.
