The brigade, which was part of the advances headquarters of the supreme command, was formed 24. November 1942 in Stalingradském queue in the settlement Stachanovec in the Stalingrad area. The brigade consisted of the command of the brigade, the command of the company, 6., 39., 103. and 126. motorized pontonového battalion. In July 1944, were to the assembly brigade of the converted 7. and 50. motorized pontoon battalion, which replaced the 6. and 126. the battalion, which were on the contrary, from the brigade down. In October 1946 the brigade was přetransformována at 47. a pontoon regiment.

In subordination Stalingradského, South, south-west and 2. Ukrainian front the brigade participated in the Stalingrad, Rostov, with lead, Dněpropetrovské, Kirovogradské, Korsuñ-ševčenkovské, Umaňsko-botosanské, Jasko-by chisinau, Debrecínské, Budapest, Vienna, Bratislavsko-brno and Prague offensive operation. During them to ensure transport of troops over the rivers Volga, Don, lake manych, Aksaj, North Doněc, Kalitva, Mius, Krynka, Dnieper, Ros, Dniester, Prut, Jijia, Răut, Seret, Suceava, Moldava, Bahlui, Trotuș, Tisa, Danube, Ipeľ, Hron, Nitra, Váh, Morava and Dyje.

The brigade was 15. September 1944 awarded the honorary title Jaská. Day 6. January 1945 was awarded the order of Kutuzov 2. degree and 17. in may 1945, the order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky 2. instance. For their bravery in the fight was different orders and medals awarded 6 582 members of the brigade. Seven persons became heroes of the Soviet union. It was a D. In. Gamova, P. Also. Kašurina, In. P. Kudašova, M. With. Kyrčanova, M. And. Maljeva, With. And. Paškeviče and Even. M. Smirnova.
