Note:		 19. března byla znovu vytvořena 24. divize se 143., 19. a 104. smíšenou brigádou. Po skončení frankistických ofenzív si 24. divize vybudovala své obranné pozice kolem řeky Segre. Její sídlo bylo založeno v Artesa de Segre. Začátkem července dezertoval velitel brigády major domobrany Ortiz, který uprchl do Francie. Jeho nástupce, major domobrany Miguel García Vivancos, nařídil jeho dopadení a zastřelení. Během zbytku roku 24. divize do příslušných operací nezasáhla. Na konci roku 1938 byla součástí XXIV. armádního sboru a byla nasazena na frontě u Ebra. Zúčastnila se první fáze katalánského tažení, bez většího úspěchu. Dne 17. ledna 1939 byla jednotka, silně rozbitá a neorganizovaná, rozpuštěna. Zbytky jednotky byly použity k posílení 43. divize, zatímco major Hermenegildo Roca převzal velení rozbité 56. divize. On March 19, the 24th Division was re-established with the 143rd, 19th and 104th Mixed Brigades. After the end of the Frankish offensives, the 24th Division built its defensive positions around the river Segre. Its headquarters were established in Artesa de Segre. At the beginning of July, the commander of the brigade, the Major militia Ortiz, who fled to France, deserted. His successor, militia major Miguel García Vivancos, ordered his capture and shooting. During the rest of the year, the 24th Division did not intervene in the relevant operations. At the end of 1938 it was part of the XXIV. Army Corps and was deployed to the front at Ebra. She took part in the first phase of the Catalan campaign, without much success. On January 17, 1939, the unit, severely broken and disorganized, was disbanded. The remnants of the unit were used to reinforce the 43rd Division, while Major Hermenegildo Roca took command of the broken 56th Division.
