Note:		 2. asturijská smíšená brigáda byla založena v únoru 1937 v Peñaullán (sektor Avilés), tvořící součást 1. divize. Při velké ofenzívě proti Oviedu 23. února její první prapor vystřídal 11. smíšenou brigádu v sektoru Loma de Pando, který dobyla a odolala houževnatým protiútokům protivníka, aby znovu získala tuto pozici, která přerušila jedinou cestu spojující Oviedo s týlem národních sil. 4. dubna odjela 2. smíšená brigáda do Vizcaya, složená z praporů 223, 228 a 234 a byla ponechána v záloze v „Cinturón de Hierro“. Jednotka se začlenila nejprve do 1. baskické divize v sektoru Mendieta a později do Společné divize. 12. června nahradil 18. smíšenou brigádu v sektoru Urrusti-Gaztelumendi, kde utrpěla značné ztráty. Brigádě se podařilo stáhnout po pádu Bilbaa a vrátit se do Asturie. 6. srpna obdržela označení 190. smíšená brigáda a stala se součástí 59. divize XVII. armádního sboru. The 2nd Asturian Mixed Brigade was established in February 1937 in Peñaullán (Avilés Sector), forming part of the 1st Division. During a major offensive against Oviedo on February 23, her first battalion replaced the 11th Lig de Pando mixed brigade, which it conquered and withstood the enemy's tenacious counterattacks to regain this position, which interrupted the only route connecting Oviedo to the rear of national forces. On April 4, the 2nd Mixed Brigade left for Vizcaya, composed of Battalions 223, 228 and 234, and was left in reserve in the "Cinturón de Hierro". The unit first joined the 1st Basque Division in the Mendieta sector and later the Joint Division. On June 12, he replaced the 18th Mixed Brigade in the Urrusti-Gaztelumendi sector, where it suffered heavy losses. The brigade managed to withdraw after the fall of Bilbao and return to Asturias. On August 6, the 190th Mixed Brigade received the designation and became part of the 59th Division XVII. Army Corps.
