From the attached report it is clear that the Chief of Staff of the Corps from July 1941 was Lieutenant-ColonelVolkonsky.
The prefix Vr (Вр) on the second document before Chief of Staff Volkonsky's name indicates that he is only temporarily in charge of this function (vremenno ispolnyajushchij dolžnost').
