DEU - FF-63m (poľný telefón)

Feldfernsprecher FF-63m
Field telephone from GDR production. It was manufactured from 1964 until about 1990. It is a classic MB principle, with the difference compared to most, that it uses the same insert as a microphone and as a earphone, instead of a carbon microphone. A transistor amplifier is used to achieve sufficient volume. The result is better voice transmission with less distortion.

Power supply: 5 x 1.5 V with size AA battery or 5 x NiCd battery 1.2 V AA
Range: approx. 40 km on a two-wire field line
Weight: approx. 4.3 kg

I also attach a diagram and a picture of an additional dialer for connecting the FF-63M to the AUT network

Connection of a field telephone with a dial pad for direct dialing in the AUT system. For calls in the car network, the switch on the dial pad in the left (white) must be set to the right position. the connection is two wires and the handset needs to be placed in the right place at rest, just like with a classic telephone.
