01.06.1917 - arises at the base of Rochford as training for practicing night flying bomber pilots
DD.06.1919 - disbanded
07.11.1942 - restored as a bomber at the base Blyton and undertake night raids on targets in Germany and occupied Europe, beginning of the year 1944 is intended for electronic warfare (e.g. jamming enemy radar) and in this role operates up to the end of the war
29.07.1945 - dissolved
16.07.1951 - restored at the base of the Watton again as a unit for electronic warfare
15.12.1958 - dissolved, from the squadron armed with machine Valiant created 18. squadron
