Škoda VOS (government personal special)
In the 1950s and & # 382; In 1952, a small series (up to about 100 pieces) of this representative local limousine for the safe transport of the highest state and party organizations was produced in the Slovak Republic. Representative, ethnicity, Supreme Commander & # 269; s. Armed Forces of President Klement Gottwald.
The chassis was supplied by AZNP, the Škoda plant in Mladá Boleslav, the engine and the Praga n.p. in Prague Vysocany, the body was made by Karosa n.p. Vysoké Mýto (former Sodomka body shop), the instrumentation was supplied by PAL n.p. Prague Kbely and the interior was made by Tatra n.p. Kopnice. Final assembly took place in AZNP, Škoda plant in Mladá Boleslav.
Two doors were produced. car variants with two two-sealed closed sedan bodies that differed in performance. The Škoda VOS variant was armored and the Škoda VOS-L variant was lightweight and therefore unarmored. The transmission engine was located in the front and driven rear wheels. The interior was rich. There was no curtain on the rear side windows. The dashboard was made of bakelized imitation wood and was equipped with heat, coolant, oil pressure, fuel, tachometer and car radio. From the outside, the body was complemented by the then fashionable chrome strips, which gave it an elegant and representative character. Technical data on the vehicle belonged to the classified information.
