22 - 250 Remington

An American hunting cartridge with a rather complicated history. Something similar was made before World War I, but it wasn't until the 1930s that the wildcat appeared in its final form and remained a wildcat until 1963. That was the year Remington began commercial production. The 3.6 g bullet has a muzzle velocity of 1073 m/sec. The cartridge in the picture was made by Norma, Amotfors, Sweden, on the right is a 5.56 x 45 (223 Remington). Photo by.
