English hunting cartridge from the years 1911 - 12, sometimes also called 275 Belted Nitro Express. The 10.36 g projectile has a muzzle velocity of 820 m/sec. The cartridge in the picture was made by W. Romey, Germany, on the right is a 7.92 x 57 cartridge, photo by the author.
