61. a battalion of airport and radio technical security [/heading]

In connection with a number of organizational changes in the units letištně occipital and radar security - the reorganization of the Air bases and into the "merged" battalion of airport and radio technical security remained for them only the units for the security of a PERMANENT AIRPORT.

It was related mainly to the change of "orientation" and did not require mass taking backup airports.

For the security of any "rehearsing" the passion of the backup airport security and air traffic in the peace conditions should be set up 1 to 2 separate "battalions of the airport and radio technical security."

One of them was just 61. a battalion of airport and radio technical security in Přerov.
Eventually remained as the only one, because in the following period there was a radical reduction of air services.
