98-OF-M - mortar cartridge of 98 mm calibre for Slovak drawn mortar of 98 mm calibre vz.97.

The RDX/TNT blast-filled, 98 mm calibre mortar cartridge has a streamlined body ensuring optimum shrapnel formation. It is manufactured by advanced technology by forging a tubular steel blank. The stabilizer with six stabilizing plates is cast in aluminum. The ejection cartridge consists of a base cartridge and six horseshoe-shaped sub cartridges. To achieve maximum range, a long-range cartridge consisting of five small and one large cartridge is used.
