Combat vehicle 9P124 is built using the chassis of a reconnaissance vehicle BRDM-2. The installation of a launcher with 4 missiles ready for use forced the removal of the turret and the expansion of the fuselage at the top. It is slidably located in the original swarm space and is hidden inside the vehicle in the marching position. The total number of rockets carried in the vehicle varies according to sources from 6 to 8 pieces. The operator has two members (driver and operator). Serial production took place around the middle of 1967.
