The Cadillac Gage Commando V-200 is a modification of the Cadillac Gage Commando V-100 and was developed based on a requirement from the Singapore Armed Forces. Compared to the V-100, it is longer, has a more powerful engine and a reinforced chassis (components from 5-tonne trucks were used in its construction). The modifications have resulted in increased reliability, increased interior space and higher carrying capacity.


Singapore became the sole user.


The vehicle was produced in several versions, with additional versions (at least an anti-aircraft version) created by the user by converting the originally delivered vehicles. The last vehicles were retired from service after 2015.


Versions:
- Infantry fighting vehicle with 20mm automatic cannon (described in the table),
- fire support vehicle with a 90mm Mecar cannon and a coupled 7.62mm machine gun,
- an armoured personnel carrier without turret with a machine gun for carrying 12 persons,
- 81mm self-propelled mortar (M29 mortar installed inside the vehicle and firing through a hatch in the top of the vehicle, carries 96 mines),
- a 120mm calibre self-propelled mortar (similar to the 81mm mortar version, but the 120mm mortar Soltam is used),
- recovery vehicle (A-shaped boom installed at the front, supplemented by a winch with a pull of 11.3 tonnes)
- anti-aircraft vehicle (latest version developed in Singapore by installing PLRK RBS-70 on vehicles without turret).
