("EMEG – EMAG" - Radio distance meter, designed for II. world war with "keep" in several pieces in our territory and in the postwar period.

Managed along with a single sight "TORNADO" (or "HEINRICH"), on which the station was located determine the position of the (flying) aircraft, equipped with radio, type FuG 16ZY/LR 16- frequency range 38,40 - 42,40 MHz, (or FuG 16ZE - frequency range 38,50 - 42,30 Mc/s (MHz).
(Otherwise it was necessary to "focus" at least two spotters).
Distance zaměřovaného aeroplane assessed the device "EMEG – EMAG" - "HANS".

During the radio connection with the aircraft sent the device modulation of 3000 c/s (Hz), zaměřovaný the aircraft audio signal received and a different frequency to your on-board radio transmitter sent out the back.
