About the life of this officer 774. IAP there is a minimum of information. He participated in the battles of the Great Patriotic War from 27.06.1941 as a gunner of a bomber of an unknown long-range bomber aviation regiment. He was later appointed deputy commander of 774. IAP for political affairs. According to one source,1) he was briefly to be given command of the 774th Fighter Aviation Regiment. Another source2) does not list him among the regiment's commanders. With this regiment he fought his way from Crimea to Germany.
