Improvised heavy infantry fighting vehicle: the BMP (BMP) At least two captured T-62 tanks are being converted into heavy infantry fighting vehicles at an unspecified location in Ukraine. The vehicle conversions were initiated at the request of the 128th Mountain Strike Brigade.
Known information: - Manufacturer: workshop of the Serhije Prytuly Foundation (Sergija Pritula Fund), - chassis: T-62, - hull: it is not known whether it will be converted for paratroop transport, - turret from BMP-2 armed with: 30 mm cannon 2A42 and unspecified ATGM, - Number of rebuilds: 2 (10.05.2023).
