Motorized Regiment of the 10th Cavalry Brigade - Pułk zmotoryzowany 10 Brygady Kawalerii
The motorized regiment as a military body of motorized cavalry was subordinated to the commander of the 10th Cavalry Brigade through its commander. The regiments' transition to wartime status did not follow the mobilization plan. Increased combat readiness and partial replenishment to war status of units of the 10th. JB was ordered already on 15.03.1939 in connection with the March occupation of the Czech lands and the declaration of independence of Slovakia. The regiments were supposed to issue one colorguard each on the war states, but the mobilization resources were released only when the alarm mobilization was announced in August 1939.

It is necessary to add, that in the spring of 1939 it was decided to form another motorized brigade (the Warsaw Tank and Motorized Brigade), which was to have a modified organizational structure and for which new tables were formed. The regiments were to be 10. JB reorganized. Some changes took place - for example, mortar platoons were formed. However, there was no time for major changes. Just before the outbreak of war, the manpower levels were filled, but the actual vehicle and equipment levels differed from the expected wartime levels.
