Communication squad was as a separate setnina cavalry subordinate to the commander of the regiment. Ensured the connection of the command post of the regiment, with the superior headquarters and units of the regiment. Could at the same time develop the five routes of wired telephone wires and the two stations connected with the air force. Every phone swarm could develop the leadership to a length of 13 km at a speed of 7 (night) to 10 (day) km/h (land management) and from 1 (night) to 3 (day) km/hr. (air conduction). Radio contact with the aircraft was not practically used, because the observation and courier aircraft were radio sets equipped.

For the regiments of the 10. cavalry brigade were war conditions platoon set out in a regulation of the Main staff of the L.dz.686/Mob of 23.12.1938 - table 16

Organizational structure the coupling of the platoon regiments 10. cavalry brigade:


command squad – platoon commander, deputy commander-in-chief materials officer, the officer's servant, 2 drivers of motorcycles with sidecar, 2 motospojky with motorcycles solo
5x phone swarm (patrol telefoniczny) – each with 1 small truck (półciężarówka) with a driver, a commander of the swarm, four adjusting and 3 field phones
1x radiotelegraph swarm (patrol radio) – off-road vehicle with a radio station N1S, the commander of the swarms, the driver and the radiotelegrafistou. For the lack of radio stations N1S was assigned radio station N2S with a shorter range.
2x swarm of connection with the air force (patrol łączności from lotnictwem) – in any 1 van (półciężarówka) with the division receiving the radio ROD (Radiostacja odbiorcza dywizyjna GENUS), a commander of the swarm, the driver, radiotelegrafistou, signalmen (sygnałowy), acting slack adjuster of the signal sails (płachtowy)
