Panzer Selbstfahrlafette II 7.5 cm Kanone L/41 on Zugkraftwagen 5t (HKp 902) In 1941, a radically modified project of earlier carriers 7.5 cm L/40.8 cannons on a half-track chassis was created ( BN10/BN10H). The basis of this project 7.5 cm Kanone L/41 auf Zugkraftwagen 5t (HKp 902) was a 5-ton semi-track tractor. A 7.5 cm L/40.8 cannon was mounted in the fully open turret, open at the top. The target was in the range of -8 ° to + 20 °. Four platforms were built (serial numbers 2009-2012), two of which were rebuilt into armored tank destroyers. The fighters were deployed on the battlefield in North Africa. They took part in actions in Libya, where one of them was destroyed. One of the machines was probably captured by British troops (? - there are undated photographs taken by British troops). They have proven themselves both in anti-tank defense and in the destruction of bunkers. These two fighters bore the registration marks "WH 539424" and "WH 539457". One machine from the four-piece series was rebuilt at the end of the war into a fire command car Feuerleitpanzer auf HKp 902 for service with units armed with tactical missiles V-2. The tower and the hull were removed from it, and instead of them, a high superstructure was built on the chassis, into which the command cables were fed. The machine served on one of the basic V-2. A prototype of the carrier 5 cm Flak 41 ( HKp 903) was derived from HKp 902.

Diskuse
brano: based on this discussion on FB www.facebook.com = notif & notif_t = photo_reply I was warned that in the table of the number of produced there should be 4, not 2, with the fact that the two remained and the other two were (as I understand it, later) converted to the driver's car and the other to a 5cm cannon. Agree, shall we adjust it this way?

I watched it yesterday and I have the impression that it is a kind of confusion in communication. If I translate it well, Marcus says what we do (although I guess incomprehensibly ... or am I translating it incomprehensibly? It's possible too.) Four HKp 902 platforms were created, of which a pair of platforms were converted to tank destroyers. One for the command launcher and one underwent a modification to the anti-aircraft (the modification was probably more pronounced because the platform was renamed HKp 903). We have it all solved here. I will ask you, you must be a more proficient Englishman, rephrase the question into Marcus as follows:
Where he read about four of these tank destroyers. Whether they were wrong about the number of platforms built and this topic. We certainly draw information from the same source. From Jentz's publication Rommel's Funnies, resp. Panzerjaeger (3.7 cm Tak to Pz.Sfl.Ic) development and employment from 1927 to 1941. If it responds to our table, then we have it right. I don't know what he's talking about. Everything is clear.
7.5 cm Kanone L/41 auf Zugkraftwagen 5t (HKp902) - Number of produced: 2 HKp 902 chassis - Number of produced: 4 (2 x fighter, 1x V2 launcher, 1x AA).
