Note: 		Vinou technické závady došlo ve čtvrtek 31.03.1977 ke katastrofě, při níž zahynuli mjr. Oldřich Pyš a ppor. Josef Palla. Zničen byl L-29R 2805. Piloti prováděli zkušební zalétání stroje po opravě v Leteckých vojenských opravnách Trenčín. Po 15 minutách letu se spojení s piloty přerušilo. Při záletu došlo ve výšce cca 1500 m k ulomení části levého křídla mezi 16. a 18. žebrem vlivem překročení mezních rychlostních hodnot. Letoun dopadl na zem v poloze na zádech pod úhlem asi 70°. Odtržená část křídla s přídavnou nádrží byla nalezena asi 2,5 km před místem dopadu letadla. Piloti startovali ze své základny v nedalekých Líních (47. průzkumný letecký pluk, 3. letka Líně). Letoun dopadl u města Blovice (asi 25 km od Plzně). -

Due to a technical fault occurred on Thursday 31.03.1977 to the disaster, in which killed mjr. Oldřich Pyš and ppor. Joseph Palla. It was destroyed L-29R 2805. The pilots were conducting a test zalétání of the machine after the repair in the the Air of military repair shops Trenčín. After 15 minutes of the flight with the connection with the pilots disconnected. During the test flight occurred at an altitude of about 1500 m to the breakage of the left wing between 16. and 18. rib the influence of exceeded limit values of speed. The plane hit the ground in the supine position at an angle of about 70°. Detached part of the wing with the additional tank was found about 2.5 km before the point of impact of the aircraft. The pilots took off from their base in the nearby Líních (47. reconnaissance aviation regiment, 3. squadron Lazily).

The plane hit near the city of Blovice (about 25 km from Pilsen).
