MNBDO 2 was formed in January 1941 from parts of the MNBDO 1, that remained in the Uk. The unit participated in the anti-aircraft defence of the United kingdom. In 1943 it was MNBDO 2 moved to the Middle east, where he joined the british 8. army. In 1944 there was a shift to Britain and the abolition of the unit. As in the case of MNBDO 1 were anti-aircraft units moved to 5. anti-aircraft brigade.
