history / History
The direct predecessor of the unit was Well. 19 (Bomber) Squadron (Auxiliary), which was formed 15. may 1935 in the canadian city of Hamilton, and which began flying in may 1937 following the adoption of the first aircraft.
15. November has been renamed to 119. squadron. In September 1939, she was mobilized and a month later was transformed into a maritime reconnaissance patrol unit. Initially operating on the west coast, but in July 1940 moved to the east and up to its dissolution 15. march 1944 to patrol over the northwest Atlantic. During her tenure in this area it has not been granted any victory.
