History / History
Direct přechůdcem unit was 20. (auxiliary bomber) squadron RCAF, that originated 1. June 1935 in the city of Regina in the province of Saskatchewan and which began flying in April of 1937, after receipt of the aircraft the De Havilland Moth.
11. November 1937 was renamed the 120. squadron RCAF. In September 1939, she was mobilized and a month later was transformed into a maritime patrol unit. Until its dissolution 1. may 1944 carried out patrol flights along the west coast of Canada, without having recorded a single victory.
