History / History
The unit was formed 1. march 1943 (some sources state 10. December 1942) at the base of the Sea Island on the west coast of Canada. Initially intended for cooperation with ground troops and aerial photography, in October 1943, transformed into a fighter unit and provided air defense of the west coast. Disbanded 15. march 1944, without having conducted a single operational years. When neoperačních years (3808 hours) squadron lost 2 aircraft and 2 of the fallen pilots.
