San Diego, 22. may 2019 Sea captain Henry Adams pronounces a speech during the ceremony on the occasion of the establishment of the new squadron. Adams is its first commodore, as commander of the squadron known traditionally. Also present was rear admiral Richard And. Brown, commander of Headquarters naval surface forces Pacific flot (and thus at the same time the commander of all naval surface forces) and navy captain Scott Carroll, who commanded the squadron from which a new squadron was formed.
