Explosives V 5, V 30, V 100, V 5-b-barrelD:
The purpose of explosives is to achieve the rapid burning of the pyrotechnic charge, the development of an intense flash of light in the desired colour, the formation of an acoustic effect - a bang and the formation of smoke of the desired colour. When explosives V 5, V 30, V 100 with both white and red flash function, a cloud of light-coloured smoke is produced, while when explosive V 5-b-b-čršD functions, smoke of black-grey colour is produced. The above characteristics are used during the exercise:
(a) to simulate the impact of missiles (artillery, rocket) and aerial bombs,
(b) to simulate the firing of artillery weapons,
(c) to simulate the explosion of tractor charges when creating passages in the terrain,
(d) to simulate the explosion of engineer mines.


1) The above values of noise intensity are informative, depending primarily on the distance of the observer, the type of terrain, the location of the explosive and the atmospheric conditions - wind speed and direction, cloud cover, relative humidity, etc. The noise intensity value is given in decibels of the average peak sound pressure - roughly, for every 3 dB, the sound pressure increases by a factor of two.
2) The colour of the casing and the bottom of the explosive always corresponds to the colour of the flash; a black smoke explosive is identical in shape to a large explosive, but has a black-grey casing and bottom.

Means for imitation of small arms fire - IRZ 10


The imitation of small arms fire shows a series of ten consecutive shots from a small automatic weapon (submachine gun, machine gun) with sound, flame and smoke. IRZ-10 is used where it is not possible to place an operator due to direct danger from shooting, explosions, passage of tanks, etc. When using it should be noted that one shot of the IRZ-10 is approximately 10 times more expensive than a shot with a training round.
The time intervals between successive shots are approximately 0.08 s, the whole series is fired in 0.8 s, which corresponds to a cadence of 750 rounds/min.
The IRZ-10 does not need a weapon to fire, it is light and easily portable, so the individual can carry and install a series of series of shots. IRZ-10 forms the transition between the means and the initiators - the imitation means are advised by a separate use in order to obtain the final effect, the initiators are advised by the construction arrangement. Therefore, IRZ-10 is not complete with another initiator for use. IRZ-10 can be used for day and night training.
The same principles apply to the installation and initiation of the IRZ-10 as to electrical initiators. These principles are described in section 1.4. The IRZ-10 differs from electric initiators mainly in that it does not have cap screws.

Imitácia štartu PTRS, skrátené označenie SRS-40, znázorňuje štart protitankovej riadenej strely zvukom, plameňom a dymom pri vlastnom štarte a svetlom stopovky na prvých približne 400 m dráhy letu. Prostriedok SRS – 40 sa používa pri výcviku prieskumných jednotiek a pozorovateľov a na výcvik reakcie na ohrozenie riadenými raketami.
Prostriedok SRS-40 je konštrukčne odvodený z osvetľovacej rakety 40-R-Os.
