Tankové brigády 101 až 110 [1944-1944]

After the assessment of the strategic situation in the area army Group Centre Hitler 2.7.1944 ordered to build a small, highly mobile armoured battle group able to quickly and effectively respond to enemy breakthroughs.
3. July Organizational department of the OKH decided to establish 12 battle groups in the context of the restructuring of several tank divisions.
7. July the inspector General of the tank units approved table of the organizational structure of tank brigades, not yet called Tank battle group ("Panzer Kampfgruppen").
11.7.1944 ordnance department department of the OKH and the Headquarters of the replacement units have received orders to form a 10 tank brigades, numbered from 101 to 110.
