Note to the name of the KVUGr Riva Bella:
In early 1944, was at the command of field marshal Rommel launched the reorganization of the coastal defenses in Normandy, in which the on the territory of the existing KVUGr Riva Bella arise, "the Group points of the Orne" (StPGr Orne), composed of the three major points of reference: StP Franceville, StP Riva Bella and StP Colleville sur Orne. Therefore, it is KVUGr Riva Bella sometimes referred to as KVUGr Orne.
