Brigade Netze
It was composed of two border guard regiments (Grenzwacht-Regiment 22 and Grenzwacht-Regiment 52) belonging to the Border Guard Command 12 in Küstrina ( Grenzschutz-Kommando 12 Küstrin). The other fates of the Netze Brigade are unclear.
According to some sources (lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de, diedeutschewehrmacht.de), units of the Brigade Netze were created in August 1939 301. Infantry Division, which was dissolved on October 14, 1939.
The same sources, resp. however, other others available to me also state that the Netze Brigade together with 50. Infanterie-Division was part of 1.9.1939 part of III. Army Corps. As part of Heeresgruppe Nord was to participate in Operation Fall Weiß, ie the invasion of Poland.
