TY-90 Yitian

TY-90 Yitian - ground-to-air anti-aircraft missile system. The system uses an aerial heat-guided missile TY-90.


The system manufactured by NORINCO was first introduced at the end of 2004. The system consists of eight missile containers, a surveillance radar and a passive electro-optical search and tracking system.


The anti-aircraft system itself can be in a mobile version (wheeled, tracked armored vehicles, trucks and trailers), but also in a stationary version.


In the mobile version, the system has so far been demonstrated on the chassis of an armored personnel carrier WZ-551, car SAC SFQ2040 and installation is also possible on the chassis car DongFeng EQ2050
