Zakladateľ Armádnej lyžiarskej asociácie (Army Ski Association) and Armádneho mountaineering club (The Army Mountainering Club). Since 1919, married, wife Harriot Bisset Holmes. Son - colonel John Malcolm Arbuthnot Younger, MBE, daughter Vivienne Grace Younger.
