History / History
The unit was formed 1. (other sources state 26.) October 1942 on the base of the Patricia Bay (British Columbia). As torpédonosná was intended to defend the western coast of Canada against the japanese forces units located on the World. As the only canadian unit was armed with torpédonosnými aircraft Beaufort, but have not taken on them the only operating years. After having passed the dangers of the Aleutians, was in July 1943 transformed the long-distance bomber patrol unit and up to its dissolution 15. march 1944 was primarily carried out anti-submarine patrols in the same area. The crew of the squadron experienced any victory.
