Bell P-59A
serial aircraft Serial No.44-22609 - 44-22628, engines J31-GE-3 with a thrust of 7.34 kN, a large order was not signed (for 100 + 250 aircraft), 20 aircraft were produced
Bell P-59B
second series Serial No. 44-22629 - 44-22658, J31-GE engines with a thrust of 8.9 kN, all serial machines had a smaller span because the end arches of the wings were removed; end of delivery 05/1945 - 30 aircraft produced
