letoun byl pouze jednomístný,
na místě zadního pilota byl instalován buben s ocelovým vlečným lanem průměru 5 mm,
pohon bubnu s lanem zajišťovala vzduchová náporová turbína L-03, umístěná pod trupem,
prvky vedení lana pod trupem a ochrana zadní spodní části trupu před poškozením lanem,
kabina letounu nebyla hermetizovaná a přetlakovaná,
letoun nebyl plně vybaven navigačními přístroji (nebyl např. montovám systém RSBN-5S),
letoun byl v barevně výrazném žluto-bílém barevném nátěru.		 first prototype of L-39V
