hrada, which lay

Fort hrada, which lay to nacházíc about 4 km east of Munich Hradiste in the cadastre of the village of Dneboh. Located is on a high plateau of rock blocks below the top of the Male (463 m asl), the position of hrada, which lay (406 m asl) and Klamorna (360 m asl). In its neighbourhood are the ruins of rock castles of Drábské světničky and Klamorna. It occupies an area of about 15 hectares. On the northern and western part is protected by natural steep sandstone cliffs. On the south it from Klamorny separates the deep gorge. Access was possible from the east.
The settlement we have documented in younger until the late bronze age and then in the early middle ages, when it was fortified settlement used for their defensive function. However, the settlement we have documented already in the younger and late stone age. In the period of the older stone age (culture nálevkovitých cups) perhaps the site was used perhaps even in some primitive defensive function (rather use your own ground than building defensive structures). In the younger and late bronze age resided here the people of the culture of the lusatian urnfield culture, that's when the site was fortified. However, other subsequent modifications, to greatly reduce the possibility of this fortification well reconstruct. Inhabited and fortified at that time was adjacent Klamorna. The settlement here was also at the time of la tene, but whether or not she was even then built fortifications, cannot be determined yet. In the early middle ages there has been the construction of fortifications probably already in the early 9th. century. Archaeologically, it was found more rarefied settlements, therefore, can be considered at least partially útočištné the function of the hillfort. However, the settlement at the time, there demonstrably was (a few recessed housing objects). Ceramics us the settlement dates from the early 9th. century to the beginning of 10. century. Klamorna was settled a little later, but after following along for some time coexisted. Klamorna then was inhabited throughout the 10. century.
Observed construction of the fortifications, as already mentioned above, was based in large part on local characteristics of the terrain. Val in a length of about 250 m, we have preserved on the eastern side, where it was possible the easiest access. This val has a preserved width of about 2 to 5 m and reaches a height of around 2 m. the Original the wall therefore had to be much higher. Was loamy design and perhaps had a wooden gallery, which was from the outside kept palisade. Fortifications Klamorny wasn't so massive, however, was more elaborate. This fortification is the early slavonic age, but it was his predecessor in the bronze age and is the issue whether even in the time of la tene, it was fortified, or whether they should settle for, just the destruction of the mound from the bronze age.
Archaeologically began to the Castle to examine the already J. L. Cun at the end of the 19. century. He stayed in the middle Píčově the farm, however, with the owner not the family relationship. 20. century then location of the most probádali J. Axamit, M. Šolle and in the years 1953 to 1959 then E. Pleslová-Štiková.
